we are advertising a 1-year research fellowship at the Neuroradiology Unit, IRCCS Foundation Carlo Besta Neurological Institute, Milan, Italy.
Project title: Structural and functional MRI characterization applied to headache disorders and neurodegenerative diseases
We are looking for a motivated researcher interested in neuroimaging and eager to work in a multidisciplinary research environment within a highly specialized neurological hospital.
The successful candidate will join a research group working on structural and functional MRI in headache and neurodegenerative disorders, in close collaboration with clinicians, psychologists, engineers, and mathematicians, with the opportunity to work on large neuroimaging datasets at an internationally recognized neurological institute ranked among the top neurology hospitals worldwide.
Applicants should hold a Master’s degree recognized in Italy in Cognitive Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistics. Experience with FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer, and programming in MATLAB/Linux and/or Python and/or R will be particularly valued, as well as scientific publications in neuroimaging or neurology.
Duration: 12 months
Annual amount: €22,000 gross/year (Senior fellowship)
