I’m using CAT12 (26.0.rc3; implemented in SPM 25.1.2) to run an F-test between four groups. Simple non-parametric voxel-wise FWE<0.05 gives me this figure:
Interestingly, when I run TFCE, here is what I got:
With four clusters, the largest has 160000 voxels. Of note, the analysis is corrected for age/sex/TICV, according to CAT12 suggestions:
Any help is appreciated. My first thought is that I have some sort of “cluster leakage,” where the clusters are continuously linking to each other; another thought is to leave TFCE aside and report the FWE results.
