That’s possible, but what’s nice about my method is that all jobs are in a single job array, as opposed to individual jobs which may be needed to do this method. Job arrays are easier to manage and more computationally efficient (your system admin will thank you). Also that can create a lot of files when working with big datasets (presumably each subject would need a script with what you describe?).
