Hi, I’m Dhriti Singh, and I’ve submitted a proposal for Project 18 SciCommons.

I’m a software engineer with a strong interest in building AI-driven systems and continuously learning through practical problem-solving.

My proposal focuses on AI-powered features such as semantic search, paper summarization, and recommendation systems using open-source models.

I have experience building document analysis pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, and APIs, and I’m exploring how similar workflows can be effectively integrated into SciCommons.

I wanted to ask if there are any specific areas within Project 18 that contributors should prioritize, particularly regarding AI feature integration.

Thank you for your earlier feedback on my proposal.

I’ve updated it with more detailed technical explanations, including system architecture, data flow, and evaluation metrics. I would really appreciate it if you could take a quick look whenever you have time.

Hello @suresh.krishna @armanalam03 @faisal_ansari mentors, Yesterday I mailed with my proposal draft . But sir told to use Neurostars for communication so I am sharing my proposal link only allowed to your mail ids mentions.

Pls check it once and tell your opinion and I know it near deadline but just a few words will mean a lot and if nothing changes then I will proceed with submission and I hope we can work it out.

Hi everyone,

I am Krishan from India and I have submitted my GSoC 2026 proposal for the SciCommons project.

I am very interested in contributing to this project, especially in areas like AI-powered features (summarization, semantic search), frontend improvements, and overall user experience.

I have also contributed to the INCF KnowledgeSpace AI Agent project, where I worked on improving error handling and security.

I would really appreciate any feedback from mentors and the community on my proposal or guidance on how I can further improve and contribute to the project.
