Jowens
I’m an Imaging Research Specialist and software engineer with a background in computer science and MRI data processing. My work focuses on reproducible neuroimaging workflows for resting-state fMRI, diffusion MRI (including DTI), structural MRI, and large-scale research datasets.
I primarily work with Python, MATLAB, Bash, Linux, and SLURM-based HPC environments, and regularly use tools such as FSL, AFNI, ANTs, dcm2niix, BIDS, and related neuroimaging software. I enjoy developing automated pipelines, troubleshooting preprocessing workflows, performing quality control, and helping researchers organize imaging data into reproducible analysis pipelines.
I’m particularly interested in:
-
Resting-state fMRI preprocessing and analysis
-
Diffusion MRI / DTI processing
-
BIDS organization and validation
-
DICOM to NIfTI conversion
-
Motion and image quality control
-
Linux and HPC workflow development
-
Scientific programming and workflow automation
I’m always happy to discuss neuroimaging methods, troubleshoot pipelines, and learn from the community.
