I am a PhD Student and Researcher at the High-Assurance Software Laboratory (HASLab), INESC TEC. I pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minho, specializing in Medical Informatics, and graduated with a Master’s degree. This academic journey allowed me to contact and work in fields such as Machine and Deep Learning, distributed and web applications, and medical imaging informatics. Currently, my research focuses on Distributed Systems and Medical Imaging Informatics. I am developing an approach to dMRI image analysis that uses parallel processing to improve the efficiency of these tasks, aiming for a user-friendly, scalable, and clinically usable solution to meet the computational demands of medical image analysis.
