Volumes with filtered framewise displacement greater than 0.4 mm were flagged as outliers and excluded from nuisance regression [@power_fd_dvars]. The filtered versions of the motion traces and framewise displacement were not used for denoising. Before nuisance regression, but after censoring, the BOLD data were despiked, mean-centered, and linearly detrended. The top 5 principal aCompCor components from WM and CSF compartments were selected as nuisance regressors. Additionally, the six motion parameters and their temporal derivatives were added as confounds. The average global signal was also added as a regressor. [@benchmarkp;@satterthwaite_2013]. These nuisance regressors were regressed from the BOLD data using linear regression - as implemented in Scikit-Learn 1.1.3 [@scikit-learn]. Any volumes censored earlier in the workflow were then interpolated in the residual time series produced by the regression. The interpolated timeseries were then band-pass filtered to retain signals within the 0.01-0.1 Hz frequency band. The processed BOLD was smoothed using Connectome Workbench with a gaussian kernel size of 3.0 mm (FWHM). Processed functional timeseries were extracted from residual BOLD using Connectome Workbench [@hcppipelines] for the following atlases: the Schaefer 17-network 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000 parcel atlas [@Schaefer_2017], the Glasser atlas [@Glasser_2016], the Gordon atlas [@Gordon_2014], and the Tian subcortical artlas [@tian2020topographic]. Corresponding pair-wise functional connectivity between all regions was computed for each atlas, which was operationalized as the Pearson's correlation of each parcel's unsmoothed timeseries with the Connectome Workbench. For each hemisphere, regional homogeneity (ReHo) was computed using surface-based *2dReHo* [@surface_reho]. Specifically, for each vertex on the surface, the Kendall's coefficient of concordance (KCC) was computed with nearest-neighbor vertices to yield ReHo. For the subcortical, volumetric data, ReHo was computed with neighborhood voxels using *3dReHo* in AFNI [@afni]. The amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) [@alff] was computed by transforming the processed BOLD timeseries to the frequency domain. The power spectrum was computed within the 0.01-0.1 Hz frequency band and the mean square root of the power spectrum was calculated at each voxel to yield voxel-wise ALFF measures.
