A little help on gradient analyses background info

Hi there,

Our group is quite curious about doing a project using gradient analysis methods on the resting state of the Connectome project data, but we admittedly are almost just as confused about what the method entails as we are intrigued by it. Might anyone know a general resource for getting a primer about the topic, or might they even be willing to just write a paragraph or two about an overview of the techniques. We’re still trying to ~wrap our heads~ (haha) around it.
