The openMINDS metadata framework (RRID:SCR_023173) provides integrated metadata models for Linked Data for global graph database systems. It also includes supplementary libraries of ontology-driven metadata instances that are maintained in close collaboration with the INCF Knowledge Space and the InterLex project. Last but not least, the framework provides a number of supportive tooling, including software libraries for Python, Matlab, and Java, as well as converters from and to other standardization efforts.
Originally developed within the Human Brain Project (HBP), the openMINDS metadata framework is adopted by the EBRAINS research infrastructure and serving primarily the neuroscience community; however, openMINDS is not restricted to the neuroscience domain and can be further expanded to serve other scientific disciplines.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for a wide community to discuss and contribute to openMINDS.
