AFNI Bootcamp, Part 2: Jan 29-31, 2025 (Virtual)

We are pleased to announce a new AFNI Bootcamp, taking place Jan 29-31, 2025.

Registration is free and open to both NIH and non-NIH researchers. The course is aimed at people who have some familiarity with FMRI, and it is not an primer in the basics of FMRI itself. The Bootcamp is an introduction to the visualization, processing, analysis and checking of FMRI data, particularly using AFNI software to facilitate this. It will be most useful to you if you are already analyzing or will be analyzing some FMRI data shortly thereafter.

Registration and links for setup and useful background/preparation material are here .

This is Part 2 of the traditional Bootcamp content (the first part was in October, 2024). This half will focus on group analysis, statistical methodology, results reporting, and surface-based visualization and processing (with SUMA).

A couple important points:

  • Due to facility logistics, this will be held virtually, and we will send out the Bootcamp link to registrants nearer to the start of class.
  • If a lecture hall becomes available on campus, we will try to also add the in-person option for those who can make it—but it will still be streamed virtually in any case.

Questions can be posted in a thread here or emailed to: afni.bootcamp at gmail.com.

Please feel free to share widely.
