angio/PCA in BIDS

Hi,

Can we use the entity of _hemi-(L or R) for angio/PCA in MRI? If this is possible what will be the order of -hemi with other entities such as -acq, and -part?Thank you.

Best regards,
Ruwan

From the table in the section linked below, it looks like you can use the angio suffix

https://bids-specification.readthedocs.io/en/latest/modality-specific-files/magnetic-resonance-imaging-data.html#non-parametric-structural-mr-images

The filename template does not include the the hemi entity so it would not be valid “according to bids” if you used it.

Entities always follow the same sequence, though for some modalities some entities are not allowed.
If you want to know what is the order of all BIDS entities, see this appendix:

https://bids-specification.readthedocs.io/en/latest/appendices/entities.html

If you still wanted to use it you would have to add this file name in a .bidsignore file to pacify the bids validator.

Hi,

Thanks. This is very helpful.
