Hi All,
I need to perform QC on a large dataset. Is there any automated option to run QC on the results from fMRIPrep?
Thanks.

Hi @scanner101,
Have you looked at MRIQC yet? MRIQC is primarily aimed at producing Image Quality Metrics (IQMs) for “raw/input” BIDS data. Here’s a publication covering that ground thoroughly alongside fMRIPrep. There are other tools you might consider pairing with MRIQC to ensure a robust QC workflow too.
Have you looked at the reports that come out packaged with your fMRIPrep results? You can view a sample report from this page.
Another great tool is the ENIGMA project’s HALFpipe pipeline with its own QC built-in, publication here.
Another newer one is Q’kay (preprint here): “a manager for the quality assessment of large neuroimaging studies”.
I’m curious what you’ve tried so far and what you’ve found more or less helpful. I know sometimes the QC ratings you provide or target may be tailored to your research question(s) and may differ from the QC ratings that someone else might rate because of stricter or more lenient criteria.
Anyway, good luck with your QC! Let this thread know what worked best for your use case and why.
