Although the question is from quite some time ago, for people that stumble on this question through google (like I just did):

You could check out https://github.com/fieldtrip/fieldtrip/blob/master/data2bids.m for which various non-MRI examples are given on http://www.fieldtriptoolbox.org/example/bids/
