Brainhack Atlanta at GSU TReNDs Center

Hi Neurostars

Brainhack ATL is an Atlanta-based neuroscience hackathon focused on bringing together students, researchers, faculty, professionals, engineers, and scientists from a variety of fields and expertise to explore the multiple applications of neuroimaging tools from a cross-disciplinary perspective.

Brainhack ATL 2019 is a collaborative effort between the neuroscience communities at Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, and Emory University and is held in the new TReNDS center at Georgia State. This ATL based neuroscience hackathon is one of the US Southeast’s participating locations as part of Brainhack Global.

Brainhack ATL 2019 will take place from Wednesday, November 13 through Friday, November 15.

Brainhack ATL 2019 is a free 3-day hackathon, consisting of competitive project tracks that will have 60 participants working on computationally intensive projects to develop neuroimaging tools and apply machine learning for brain imaging data. The hackathon also allows participants to pitch their own project tracks for those who want to contribute to the hackathon in their own way (e.g., through our “Pitch A Project” track). Food will be provided throughout the event and prizes will be awarded to the winning project teams.

We would like to invite undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, researchers, and scientists to apply to Brainhack ATL 2019. Applications are due Monday, November 4th at 11:59PM. Apply here (https://forms.gle/Y9mv59fP45piy6vF7)!
