When sharing data diffusion-weighted imaging data with colleagues, we found that it is still required to have the .bval and .bvec values, next to the NIfTI and JSON files.
In this case, would it not be much easier to put those parts of the acquisition information in the JSON too? Storing numerical arrays in JSON is very straightforward.
