Can we just ignore BIDS validator warnings?

Hi there,

I am new to the BIDS community. When I validate a dataset on BIDS Validator, it does not give me errors but just warnings. Could I simply ignore this and move on to fMRIprep?

Hi @ClaireZ and welcome to neurostars!

It depends on the warning. For example, if you want to slice timing correction and the validator warns you that slice timing is not provided, that would certainly be a cause for concern.
