Change snippet of the site on Google search result?

The snippet I’m seeing when searching for Neurostars on Google is the description of the Google Summer of Code category. Should it be
“A question and answer forum for neuroscience researchers, infrastructure providers and software developers.”
instead?

I’m not sure we get to pick what Google excerpts for its blurb.
