Could you give an example where electrodiffusion is really effective? (I mean the electrodiffusion itself, i.e. an action of electric forces on ions, not your equations that include both electric processes and diffusion. To my intuition, electrodiffusion might be effective on a microscale of synaptic cleft or so, but it is not your scale, or, it is a major process inside the membrane channels, but this is also not your scale. )
