What is the correct zoom password?
I just checked, and the password given on Sched works for me. So not sure what issue @todorovdi is experiencing, unfortunately.
Can I use pyspark on my local machine that is not a HPC (for learning purposes)? In terms of computation efficiency, does it ever make sense to use pyspark for parallelizing processes on my local machine?
Alice, yes, even on a local machine you can use it to use all your cores and run parallel tasks. It can actually use all your 8 cores and speed up processing. The installation is a bit of a hassle, though.
hi, @cengique did you by any chance record the tutorial and could make it available as a stream? I would very much like to re-watch some parts.
Thanks for your interest, and please take our short survey after watching the video so we can improve our materials in the future.
I also updated the sched event to add the link there now.
