Converting between fsaverage and fsLR RAS coordinates

Hi Neurostars,

I need to convert fs_LR (32k) coordinates into fsaverage coordinates. Is there a linear transform to achieve this, or the inverse? similar to this wiki which shows how to transform from fsaverage to MNI152

If not, how can I compute the transformation myself? Is there anything like a linear registration tool for gifti surfaces?
