We are happy to announce that the call for participation for the first ever distribits meeting is online at https://distribits.live, and registration is still open until October 15th.
This meeting is organized by the people behind the git-annex and DataLad projects. We aim to bring together enthusiasts of tools and workflows in the domain of distributed data with a two-day conference followed by a one-day hackathon.
We are looking forward to April 2024 and to meeting people from everywhere, online or in Düsseldorf.
Registration is open now! Please register and submit a contribution until October 15, tell your friends and like-minded data management enthusiasts. We target a diverse audience to promote a stimulating exchange across professions, disciplines, and expertise. Attendees may include researchers, data stewards for collaborative initiatives, data scientists, software developers from academic or corporate environments, or simply enthusiastic individuals. Some people will have expertise with tools like git-annex and DataLad, but this is not a requirement for participation.
