I am looking to understand what is fODF. Is it like based on information from each voxel from dMRI we predict the direction of the fiber. Suppose, in cases like deterministic so the fODF gives only one direction whereas in probabilistic tractography the fODF gives two to three directions. What is the basis behind on forming these fODFs?
