fMRIPrep: multiple T1s with different qualities

Hi all,
I perform preprocessing using fMRIPrep on a dataset where some of the subjects have more than one T1, possibly with different quality. From FAQ and forums I’ve learnt that in case of multiple T1s, fMRIPrep uses Freesurfer’s mri_robust_template to calculate a unified/average image and then works on that.

My question is what happens when one of the T1s has a substantially lower quality - will it have a negative effect on the resulting image or will in such terms the less quality T1 will have a minimal effect if at all.

In other words - is it safe to feed both T1s to fMRIPrep or is it better to manually choose the better one and feed only that T1.

Thanks!
