FMRIPREP orientation output

Hi all,

my inputs images are in LAS and fmriprep reorients them to RAS. I reoriented them after fmriprep back to LAS, but in my specific results left and right is is switched somehow an I am trying to find out why.
I want to have my fmriprep outputs in LAS orientation. Is that somehow possible?

  1. Could I just use TemplateFlow for my output space and reorient the template I want to use to my desired output orientation (LAS)? https://fmriprep.org/en/stable/spaces.html
    And then use the --output-spaces command?
    How can I get the MNI152NLin2009cAsym Template? I only can find the symmetric one.

  2. Or would reorienting my output file sub-50_ses-1_task-rest_run-1_space-MNI152NLin2009cAsym_desc-preproc_bold.nii.gz to LAS actually end in the same result?
