fMRIPrep Work Directory Storage Issue

Hello,

Is it recommended to keep the fMRIPrep work directory until the pre-processing is complete for the whole study? If not, what sections can I delete? Can I delete each subject’s work directory after their pre-processing is complete? Each of my output directories is a manageable size (~3.5 gb), but my working directory is quite large (~200gb +) and I will likely run into space issues as the study continues.

Hi @atersakyan,

Yes, once preprocessing is complete for a subject, that subject’s subdirectory can be removed from the working directory without consequence. The only penalty for removing working directory components is recomputation if you need to access intermediate files again.
