Hi there!
I am a student trying to install FSL onto my Windows 10 PC for a project with a professor. After I go through all of the steps of installing (given here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-win10) and finally install Ubuntu, I get this error message:
Installing, this may take a few minutes...
WslRegisterDistribution failed with error: 0x80370102
Error: 0x80370102 The virtual machine could not be started because a required feature is not installed.
My computer is Windows 10, x64-based processor, OS build 18363.1198. It seems as if I have all of the components necessary for it to run. The instructions are for installing WSL2, so possibly I would be better off installing WSL1 then upgrading to WSL2? Not sure if that is the problem.
Let me know if anyone has any ideas to troubleshoot/download FSL to a Windows 10 computer. Thank you!!
