"Functional Network"

Hi everybody,
I have EEG data to process. I am totally junior in this field. Does anyone help me with how to start working with Functional Network and analyze data in MATLAB?

The first part is them getting all data for their subjects in the shape of (electrode X time X subject). In the second part they loop over subjects and channel, and filter to only include the alpha band frequency.
