Hello everyone, I am one month in my PhD studies and I have some major concerns. During my master’s I worked with fMRI and would like to work with it for my PhD as well. I clearly stated this to my current advisor and she supported me. However, it appears no one in my department including my advisor actually conducted fMRI experiments. They used fMRI for resting-state complementary to EEG, TMS or fNIRS. How can I make the best out of this? Do you think a co-supervisor outside of the institute would solve this issue?
