How much flexibility on GE scanners in specifying sequence names

We have got some data from GE DISCOVERY MR750, and were told that the system does not allow for any sequence names changes while preparing exam cards, so we just got 4 sequences all named muxepi for functional runs and muxepi2 for DTI.
I wonder how close that to your experience?

The goal is to be able to adopt ReproIn naming convention to some degree

You can not set a custom protocol name 0018,1030 for GE MR DICOM. However, you can set a custom SequenceName (0018,0024). dcm2niix will substitute sequence name for protocol name for GE MR.
