How to use single volume EPI data as source data? BIDS error [Code 54] BOLD_NOT_4D

Dear all,

I have already encounter this issue before but I am having the same problem again. I have to upload single volume BOLD data as source data. However, I am running into BIDS validator error because it is not accepting single volume data and says that data has to be 4D.
How can I deal with that ?

Please note that I have already asked this question here and could not figure out a solution despite the helpful suggestion.

You might find this thread helpful (deals with single-volume DWI data, but I bet same principles apply).
