Is the FSL MNI standard template default the same as fmripreps MNI152NLin6Asym template

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the standard MNI152 2mm template in FSL is the same as the MNI152NLin6Asym template? This template can be downloaded here (although we are getting errors opening the files once it’s been downloaded): https://github.com/templateflow/tpl-MNI152NLin6Asym/tree/38f956d1ba72c73e5136f9f17c65dfa5da4cd480
but I’m not sure if it’s the same template that is the default MNI152 template in FSL. If anyone has any idea if FSL’s default template is the same template in the above link, that would be great.

This is correct. FSL uses MNI 152 NLIN 6th Generation, Asymmetric.

I believe that the “official” version on the website provides the symmetric version, so you are right to be careful.
