Job position : research engineer MR imaging (Lille France, renewables contract)

Context

Our research group (www.ci2c.fr) focuses on the development of MRI biomarkers for a better understanding of cognitive disorders in neurological and psychiatric diseases. To achieve these objectives, it has been necessary to develop a translational facility that encompasses automated neuropsychological evaluations, structural and functional brain imaging, and neurophysiological approaches (such as high-resolution EEG). The facility has been funded by local and national institutions, and has been further boosted by its participation in (and coordination of) a Europe-wide consortium under the EU/EFPIA-sponsored Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI). Methods of this position concern functional and structural neuroimaging acquired on a 3T MRI fully dedicated to research in addition to clinical and neuropsychological data. The candidate will be in a multidisciplinary team with neurologists, radiologists, psychologists, research scientists and engineers.

Objectives

Our team invites applications for a Neuroimaging staff scientist who will: 1- Assist with establishing new acquisition and data analysis methods for experienced and new investigators. 2- Assist in training graduate students in neuroimaging data collection and analysis. 3- Develop MRI biomarkers using functional and structural brain connectivity for the understanding of cognitive disorders in neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Skills

PhD in Neuroimaging is highly recommended Strong experience in analysing MRI data using Matlab, bash, python, etc…
