We are offering two fully funded 3.5-year PhD positions at the University of Granada (Spain) within the international project brAIn2lang .
The project focuses on decoding speech and language directly from brain activity , combining neuroscience, neuroimaging, and state-of-the-art AI to develop brain-to-text and brain-to-speech systems.
PhD positions
PhD1 – Explainable AI for Brain-to-Speech / Brain-to-Text
- Deep learning and self-supervised models for neural decoding
- Explainable and interpretable AI (XAI)
- EEG and sEEG data, LLMs and speech generation models
PhD2 – Language Neuroscience & Multimodal Neuroimaging
- Cognitive neuroscience of speech and language
- EEG, EEG–fMRI, and sEEG recordings
- Phonological, semantic, and multilingual processing
The two PhD students will work closely together , bridging experimental neuroscience and interpretable AI models .
