Localize brain lesions by manual segmentation-How to find the brain region of the lesion?

Hi everyone,

I am new to manual segmentation and I am trying to do it with 3d slicer.
Here are the steps I have done so far:

  1. register the T1 image to MNI space.
  2. skectch the lesion on the patient brain (on the registered T1).
  3. create a labelmap/3d model of the manually segmented brain
  4. ?

My question is how to use the label map or the 3d model to find out what ROI is the lesion in using a specific atlas?
