Postdoctoral position in neuroinformatics at JHU

The Department of Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins University is currently recruiting a postdoctoral fellow interested in quantitative neuroimaging. The fellow will work and be mentored as part of a multidisciplinary team led by Martin Lindquist (Johns Hopkins University) and Tor Wager (Dartmouth College). The fellow should have background in neuroinformatics and processing/analysis of neuroimaging data (i.e., anatomical, functional, and/or diffusion MRI), as well as interest in brain connectivity. The fellow will work on two NIH funded projects. The first is related to inter-subject alignment of functional data. The second is a multi-center, large-scale study of chronic pain.

The minimum qualifications for a successful candidate include:

• Completed PhD in biostatistics, engineering or quantitative neuroimaging.
• Expertise in neuroimaging software (e.g., FSL, AFNI, FreeSurfer).
• Expertise in shell scripting, containers (e.g., Docker/Singularity), and nipipe.
• Programming experience in Matlab or Python.
