I really appreciate the work of ABCD.
I am currently working on the morphology study with the ABCD data. And I need the original freesurfer outputs to support my conclusion. I was planning to execute recon-all on the minimally processed T1 file from ABCD release 5.0. But I noticed that in the image protocol paper (Image processing and analysis methods for the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study), it said “Because intensity scaling and inhomogeneity correction are previously applied, the standard FreeSurfer pipeline was modified to bypass the initial intensity scaling and N3 intensity inhomogeneity correction”. Does anyone know that these two steps correspond to the steps (shown in the figure) in freesurfer?
