The Center for Cognitive and Brain Health (CBH) located in Northeastern University’s Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC) is seeking a Principal Research Scientist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with analyses of neuroimaging data related to cognitive interventions and clinical populations. In addition to consulting with principal investigators, the ideal candidate is expected to regularly conduct group trainings on functional and structural neuroimaging analyses including task-based fMRI, resting-state fMRI, MRI and diffusion using standard packages such as SPM, FSL, Freesurfer, Tracula, and Conn. Familiarity with multimodal integration (e.g., EEG/fMRI, DWI/fMRI), machine learning, deep learning and prediction is a major plus. Familiarity with fMRI preprocessing pipelines (e.g., fMRIprep) and quality assurance routines is also a major plus. Experience in programming and scripting with Matlab, R, or Nipype is essential.
We have multiple positions available and salaries are based on level of experience and training. If interested, please contact Susan Whitfield-Gabrieli at s.whitfield-gabrieli@northeastern.edu.
