Pydeface defaces structural data only?!

Hello,

I’m trying to deface my data because the cluster that I use is not HIPAA compliant. I’m using Poldracklab’s deface tool to do so (https://github.com/poldracklab/pydeface), but it seems like it is applied to my structural data only. Is the problem with my folder structure maybe (I’m using BIDS) or does this script work on structural data only? It would be great if anyone who knows about this could help! Thank you very much in advance!

What other data do you want to deface? Generally structurals are the only kind from which faces can be reconstructed.

Thank you for your reply! I thought faces can be reconstructed from functional data too, so that’s what I was trying to do.
