I am looking for general purpose solution (so not just, e.g., prefrontal recording). Flexibility/upgradability is a plus. Mobility (as an option) would be nice. Likewise the ability to combine with EEG would be good, but is not critical.
Importantly, I’d prefer a system that is as open as possible, i.e. no mandatory “cloud uploads” or required proprietary apps. Ideally, standard file formats, and/or open protocols for streaming data.
Has anyone experience with http://www.opennirs.org ?
A rough estimate of overall cost would also be interesting.
