Hello all!
My name is Sara Lastine. I’m a fourth year undergraduate student at Iowa State University, anticipated to graduate this May. My research interests lie at the intersection of computer science, neuroscience, and linguistics.
I will be graduating soon with dual degrees in Linguistics and Computer Science. I have extensive experience across programming languages, software packages, and research methods. I have previously worked at the Michaelson Lab at the University of Iowa and the Lapish Lab at Indiana University, Indianapolis. I have also worked independently with neuroscience researchers both at my own home institute and internationally.
I am presently seeking a research assistant position in the field of neuroscience. My computational skills might just be a good fit for your lab! I also have experience in animal handling, if you happen to work with animal models.
Primarily, I am seeking a position in the new england area, but I am open to work anywhere in the US. Please let me know if you have an open position, or know of one!
