Teaching dataset fMRI

Hello,

I hope this is the right place to ask this question. I am starting a lab as TA next semester where the objective is to introduce student to fMRI analysis including standard pre-processing, task analysis using GLM at the subject and group level.

I was wondering if you were aware of nice open-access dataset that could be used for that purpose ? I guess it would be nice to have a dataset with few subject (>10), performing multiple task inside the scanner to be able to analyse multiple contrast.

Thanks a lot for your help,
Edouard

Hi @edelaire,

You may find https://openneuro.org/ to be a good resource here. All datasets are open access and BIDS-organized. Thus, BIDS apps for fMRI such as fMRIPrep, XCP_D, and Fitlins, should work on any of these datasets with task-based fMRI, giving your students plenty of options.

Best,
Steven

Thank you for the suggestion
