Transformation between different spaces

In the func folder, there are multiple affine transformation files available. what do ‘orig’, ‘boldref’, and ‘auto00000’ mean in the file names below?

Which one should be used to affine-transform the fMRI image from its original space to original T1w space? What is the corresponding file for the nonlinear warping transformation for the fMRI image from its original space to original T1w space?

Hi @mras,

The mapping from original to T1w is not nonlinear. It is a simple rigid transformation. Did you use the T1w or anat output space? More information about the process (typically asked for in the software support template) would be good to know.

You can transpose the orig-to-boldref and boldref-to-t1 to get orig-to-t1.
