Two Post-Doctoral Positions at FSU

The Nee Lab for Cognitive Neuroscience at Florida State University is seeking up to two post-doctoral researchers with interests in the neural basis of cognitive control and/or working memory. Our lab uses fMRI, TMS, computational techniques, and behavior to understand these functions. Support is available through an NIMH funded R01 project to use a combination of fMRI, computational techniques, and TMS to model and modulate hierarchical interactions supporting cognitive control.

The candidate will have access to FSU’s new state-of-the-art imaging facility equipped with a 3T Siemens Prisma outfitted with hardware peripherals to perform eye tracking, simultaneous TMS-fMRI, and simultaneous EEG-fMRI. The candidate will join a growing cognitive neuroscience community at FSU that has made multiple recent faculty hires, and has two searches ongoing searches for new faculty lines. Our department prides itself on being collaborative, collegial, and supportive.

The successful applicant must be proficient in MATLAB or Python with a strong technical background. A proven track-record in fMRI and/or computational neuroscience is preferred. Applicants should also show a commitment to mentorship.

Target start date is Summer or Fall of 2022. Support is available for at least 2 years. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and list of 3 referees to nee@psy.fsu.edu. Applications will continue to be considered until the positions are filled.
