We are using a Neuropixels dataset from the Allen Brain Institute and currently we are analysing responses in mouse V1 to natural images.
Can someone more familiar with the Vision field and mouse V1 point me to papers that show typical response latencies in mouse V1? We are looking at some PSTHs for sanity check before we go into more in-depth analysis but I am worried that our latencies are a bit too long.
We see that the firing rate doesn’t peak until 50ms after stim onset which seems way too slow to me.
