Hello, I have a problem downloading the HBN dataset from RBC on a remote Linux server. Previously, I was able to successfully clone and download the dataset on my local Mac computer, but on the remote Linux server, while I can clone the dataset, I cannot get any data—even a small .tsv file. The process runs indefinitely without any errors or output. However, when I try downloading another dataset from RBC on the same Linux server, it works fine for both cloning and getting data. I also tested the HBN dataset on another local Mac computer, and it worked as expected. This issue seems to specifically affect downloading HBN on the remote Linux server, and I’m not sure if it’s related to network settings, permissions, or something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi! It sounds like the special remote (s3) is being blocked by the network on you remote linux server. You may have to ask the network administrator to allow s3 traffic.
