I’m pretty new to working with CIFTI-2 grayordinate data and wondering how people feel about different visualizing tools.
In an ideal world, I would like to be able to generate plots of flatmaps of cortex and butterfly/flat maps of subcortical regions and operate totally within python / jupyter so that I can easily generate many figures in a standard way. I know of pycortex (but had some troubles getting it to work so far) and nilearn which is great but no flatmaps, also the SUIT toolbox which seems to be dependent on matlab, and the connectome workbench of course!
Does anyone know of other options for tools / any favorites specific to HCP/CIFTI data? Also just good ways or examples of visualizing brainstem/cerebellum data, which I have never worked with before? Thanks!!
