Voxelize a hippocampal skeleton to do the three-dimensional mapping between hippocampal boundary and that skeleton using Laplacian equation

We have gotten a skeleton data of a hippocampal boundary surface, the skeleton (medial sheet) contains a triangular surface, then we want to get a grid (volume) data of this medial sheet to do the three-dimensional mapping between hippocampal boundary and that medial sheet using Laplacian equation. I have tried the SurfStat tool (SurfStatSurf2Vol, specifically) developed by MNI, McGill University, but the voxelized skeleton is not continual. Are there some methods to deal with this issue?
