Just a quick message to mention that we will start improving bids-matlab as a common code base to interact with BIDS data set when using octave and matlab.
The communication for this will be centralized on the bids-matlab channel of the brainhack mattermost.

So if you are using octave / matlab and ever thought “I wish there was a fucntion to do X on that BIDS dataset” and/or “I will write a bit of code to do X with that BIDS dataset”, do not hesitate to get in touch.
