What is the difference between the SHARD pipeline and the EEDY pipeline for the third data update to generate a DTI file

You can read more about SHARD here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1053811920309228. While eddy correction usually involves a volume by volume correction, SHARD operates on the slice level. This nuance is especially beneficial for infant images.
Note that SHARD does not correct for eddy currents, as the authors felt that this added a lot of computational intensity with little benefit.
