2mm vs 3mm functional connectivity

Hi everyone,

I have preprocessed the ABIDE dataset (which has an original resolution of 3mm) with fmriprep and by using the ICA-AROMA process, I get a resulting bold series which is registered on a 2mm template, as explained here

Now, I want to do some further analysis and calculate functional connectivity and some metrics. Does it make sense to do all this analysis on 2mm (which is an upsampled version of my “original” 3mm input) or I should downsample to 3mm first?

Hi,

I don’t see why it would not make sense to work with the 2mm AROMA data you have.
